Death by puddle

So, my character died. He was doing pretty well, earning good money from danger pay, and establishing a reputation for himself. Then, after completing a mission, on the way home, he ran into a puddle in a tunnel underground. Turns out it was alive (an ooze) and it killed him after a long combat. I wish he could’ve gone a more honorable way, saving a village or his friends or something, maybe be butchered by a mountain giant or so, but that was not to be. *Sigh*.

Good old Bertram Williamson, we hardly knew ye. RIP.
